Welcome to YOUR daily success journal. I created this journal to
help you to be in action each day to create your dazzling life.
In choosing to be successful the
challenge isn’t learning new information, its using daily focus to practice the
new behavior until it’s stronger than the old sabotaging behavior.
Most coaches and trainers will tell
you there is an enormous disconnect between understanding and doing. Most of us
understand, we just don’t do.
Purpose:
So the purpose of this journal is
to help you make adjustments in your daily habits – your thinking and your
behaviors – not wholesale changes, but small, conscious, forward-moving
adjustments.
Here is an analogy:
You are on a boat on Lake
Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire and you want to take a Sunday afternoon
cruise. As you back the boat out of the dock, you DO NOT put the peddle to
the metal and go 60 mph. You slowly get into motion. You slowly get up to
cruising speed. You are enjoying the cruise AS you are moving forward around
the lake.
If you get off course, you make adjustments as you go. You
don’t jerk the steering wheel sharply to the left or the right. You don’t
criticize the boat for going off course. You gently make a correction and
keep cruising forward along the beautiful shoreline.
Sound reasonable?
Many people want to change for the better. However, even with
the best of intentions, change is challenging to maintain.
To stay “on course” a daily success plan is the most effective
and productive way to create your dazzling life.
